Today, Notre Dame de Paris. Yet another Sophian Temple is devoured in flames. Yet another sacrifice to the spiritual worlds, so that humanity may understand. Fire spiritualizes the physical form, brings it to the etheric plane, where it can act as a living form, beyond man’s inability to incarnate it.

Holy Monday is the day of purification, of the expulsion of merchants from the Temple. The day of the Moon, the Mystery of the soul which must become a pure vessel.

Holy Tuesday is the day when Christ predicts his crucifixion. The day of Mars, the Mystery of pain and wound.

Holy Wednesday is the day of the betrayal for 30 denarii of silver by Judas, the one who could not be Messiah, and the high priest Caiaphas. The day of Mercury, the Mystery of betrayal.

The heart of Paris, Par Isis, “near the Temple of Isis”, Notre Dame is also the heart from which radiate the forces of the Templars, the builders of the idea of Europe, precursors of the Rosicrucians.

Notre Dame de Paris, “Our Lady near the Temple of Isis”, the same place chosen to burn Jacques de Molay at the stake on March 18, 1314. The Templars were also betrayed for the gold by a king, Philip the Fair, and a high priest, Pope Clement V.

Unlike the ancient temples, in which the god descended to inhabit them independently of man, Gothic cathedrals exist only when they are inhabited by the spirit of man who restores meaning to them through the ego and the incipient conscious soul.

The forms of Notre Dame are a symbolic tapestry woven into the stone, in which the symbols of Royal Art, alchemy, become the art of the spiritualisation of the very material of the building. The inspirer of alchemy is always Sophia, “Our Lady”, Dante’s Beatrice, the Initiator, the one who gives initiation.

A “spontaneous” fire, deeply buried in technological unconsciousness. The effort to restore and physically preserve something whose true meaning is spiritual has consumed it in the flames.

One cannot lift the Veil of Isis without dying from it. One cannot tear it without being burned by it. The responsibility to unveil the face of the renewed Isis-Sophia in full consciousness is ours alone.

As peoples of Europe, are we really able to perceive, embrace and love Sophia?

Do we know what we are doing?

… or do we still yearn to sell her?
